Study at Mason Korea

In March 2014, George Mason University opened the doors to its new international campus, in Songdo, South Korea. “Mason Korea” students come from all over the world, and Mason’s Virginia students are encouraged to consider studying at the new campus and enjoy its unique global learning environment. The academic staff at Mason Korea includes tenured, tenure-track, and term faculty members from current Mason U.S. programs.

The Mason Korea campus is located in Songdo, Korea – strategically located 25 miles from Seoul. The campus accommodates 2,000 students and includes world-class teaching facilities, a library with state-of-the-art technology, a performing arts center, and comfortable residence halls with top-rate fitness centers. Shopping, restaurants, and cultural attractions surround the campus and the close proximity to Seoul allows students to engage one of the world’s most dynamic cities. Note: Mason Korea is only a two hour flight from other popular destinations, such as, Beijing, Tokyo, Shanghai, and more!

The tuition and fees paid for a semester at Mason Korea are the same as enrolling at GMU-Fairfax (Main Campus). For latest information concerning scholarships, please contact Jim Burke,, in the Office of Global Strategy.

Students live in brand new residence hall facilities operated by the Incheon Global Campus. Students will select from a single or double residence hall room, which include all basic furnishings. Residence hall costs are lower at Mason Korea and the on-campus cafeteria is convenient and serves healthy and delicious meals.
