Welcome to Mason's Korea Initiatives Site!

Mason has a long and rich commitment to South Korea and East Asia. Our involvement in South Korea has included the signing of cooperative agreements, reciprocal visits to educational and government agencies, and faculty exchanges. Perhaps most importantly, Mason has been honored by the large number of South Korean students who have chosen to complete undergraduate and graduate degrees here; South Korea continues to be among the top 3 countries sending students to study at Mason. The future of the relationship between Mason and South Korea continues to expand. Among the most exciting future plans is the possibility of a Mason campus in Korea as part of the Songdo Global University Campus. This major education hub is being constructed in the Incheon Free Economic Zone as part of major development in this region, just outside of the national capital of Seoul.
