The Office of Global and International Strategies (“Global Office”) will be the lead unit for Mason’s global and international initiatives requiring planning, organization, and the commitment of university expertise and resources.
MISSION
The mission of the Office of Global and International Strategies is to help Mason attain its strategic goals in international education and expand its reputation as a global university. To that end, the Global Office assists units, programs, faculty and students in pursuit of international initiatives and coordinates efforts across traditional organizational boundaries. It serves as an incubator for innovative university projects that engage Mason faculty and students with their counterparts around the world. The office represents Mason’s global interests to external audiences including the community, governmental and non-governmental agencies, business leaders, and other partners abroad as it furthers Mason’s reputation as an innovative and engaged university. In all of its undertakings, the office strives to be responsive and efficient as it works to enhance Mason’s national and international standing.
